Are we allowed to bring food/drink into the festival?
There is no food or drink permitted to be brought on site. Bags will be searched at the entrance. There are plenty of licensed bars and food stalls in the festival. You can also leave the site to frequent local bars and restaurants. One unopened bottle of water can be brought on site (max 500ml). Any questions please contact us.

When will I receive my tickets?
All ticket will be posted to the address given at the time of booking. They will be sent out in batches leading up to the event and you will receive them at least 1 month before.

Can I use email confirmation to gain access to the festival?
No. The email is only confirmation that we have received your order. You will then receive you paper ticket through the post to address you provide at the time of booking. Access will only be granted to the festival with a valid paper ticket.

What if I lose my ticket?
Tickets will be sent at least 2nd class recorded and require a signature. Please keep them safe. All tickets are swapped for a wristband on entrance and access will not be granted without a valid ticket. We have a very strict capacity limit which can only be guaranteed by issuing the correct amount of tickets allowed. Under no circumstances will anyone be allowed access to the event without a valid ticket.

Can two different people use one weekend ticket?
No. This is at a discounted price for those wanting to come along to both days. You will get a weekend wristband on the Friday that you will need to keep on your wrist to access the event the following day. Damaged, ripped or torn wristbands are void.

Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately all tickets are non-refundable.

Can I leave the site once I am within the festival?
Yes. You will swap your paper ticket for a wristband when you arrive which will allow you to come and go from the site as you please. All wristbands must be securely on your wrist. Damaged, ripped or torn wristbands are void.

Are children allowed to the festival?
There is a limited amount of children’s tickets available, although the festival is not planned or promoted as a family event. All under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult on a 1:1 basis and have a child’s ticket.

Are animals allowed on site?
Only guide dogs will be allowed onto the site.

Are there disabled facilities?
There will be disabled toilets on site as well as at the local bars. The site does have raised areas but all parts are accessible via permanent ramp and flat surfaces.

Is there seating available?
There is some limited permanent seating as well as raised areas around the site. In addition we provide limited garden furniture within the VIP areas.

Am I allowed to bring chairs and blankets etc?
You can bring your own camping chairs and blankets. There is limited grass areas so space so the earlier you arrive the more chances you will have of getting a spot. Tables, tents, cooking facilities and other camping equipment will not be permitted due to restricted space on site.

Are there any VIP tickets available this year?
There will not be VIP tickets available to buy this year. We do have corporate sponsorship packages available. If you are interested please email info@sunnisidelive.co.uk

Is the Battle of the Band competition on for next year’s event?
Yes we will be releasing details of the BOB in early 2018.

Can I use debit/credit card in the festival bars and food stalls?
We are introducing a token system on all bars in 2018 which will minimise queues throughout the site. There will be kiosks both outside and within the site to buy drinks tokens. There will be debit/credit card facilities on some of these which will be clearly marked. There will also be the facility to buy drinks tokens before the event at bar Justice and Gin & Bear in Bar based on West Sunniside, Sunderland.

We cannot guarantee that cards facility will be available on food stalls as these are outside catering companies.
